Is Virgin hair Remy or not?

Can virgin hair be Remy or non-Remy? Before answering the question, you need to know what is Remy human hair, and what raw/virgin human hair is. 

Raw/virgin human hair is untouched human hair with absolutely no chemical or steam processes used to achieve a certain color or texture. The textures of raw/virgin hair will be naturally occurring and you may, in fact, find a strand of grey hair in these extensions. These hair extensions are Remy with a  cuticle running in the same direction, from one single donor.

Remy hair is hair with the hair's cuticles running in the same direction, from one single donor.

Can raw/virgin hair be Remy or non-Remy? Yes and no. Remy human hair points in a uni-lateral cuticle direction, which means that the hair follicles all flow in a single direction. Remy human hair is collected in a way to allow the hair strands to stay aligned in the natural direction it grew in and to maintain the natural texture pattern and cuticle direction. A ponytail haircut is an example of this. Thus, Remy human hair greatly reduces tangling problems commonly found in non-Remy virgin hair.

Non-Remy hair? Non-Remy hair is hair collected from hairbrushes or off the floor of hair salons. While the hair from a cut ponytail is Remy, the stray hair that falls onto the floor of salons from a haircut is no longer Remy because the cuticles will no longer all point in the same direction. This non-Remy hair is commonly collected and then sold quite cheaply to manufacturers. Due to the cost difference between Remy and non-Remy hair, the majority of human hair sold today is non-Remy hair.

In order for non-Remy hair, to mimic true Remy hair, these extensions will go through chemical and steam processes to achieve the particular texture and color. This "acid bath" strips the entire cuticle off the hair shaft. The hair is then dipped in a vat of silicone to achieve the feel and look of Remy hair. The problem is once you try and wash these non-Remy hair extensions. The and the silicone washes off and the hair 

 The silicone also adds weight to the hair and increases the selling price as hair is sold by weight often times. When this hair is first held or looked upon, this non-Remy human hair will appear very silky, smooth and shiny. 
 
Soon after the hair will sadly and surely, become duller and will tangle and matte surprisingly fast after only a few washes or shampoos, even if using the highest quality washing ingredients. This type of hair is not recommended for any long-term hair extensions it should be noted.
   

So back to the question of whether virgin hair can be Remy or not? Here below are two examples explaining:

  • Remy and Virgin hair: The donor has her cut from a ponytail but has never dyed or bleached her hair, the hair would be Virgin and Remy.
  • Remy Non-Virgin hair: The donor has her hair cut from a ponytail, producing Remy hair but if the donor dyed or bleached her hair, it would not be virgin but still Remy. 

Virgin Remy human hair is the best and highest quality hair on the market today.

This hair is sold in its original colors of basically natural black and natural dark brown #2 and naturally occurring textures. You can dye, bleach, flat iron or do what you need to do to it as it's quite durable with its cuticle attached.

Shipping and Delivery

We Ship Internationally!

FREE standard domestic shipping (3-5 business days) and calculated worldwide shipping offered. Your Endless Hair Extensions are shipped from our warehouse located in Florida.

It will take 1 business days to process your order, regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout. We ship Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays and holidays. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery, even if your shipping is upgraded to express. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking link once your order ships.

Please note that if an inaccurate or incomplete address(es) are provided, or if there are unverified details with your order, it potentially will delay processing by an additional 1-2 business days. Please be sure to double check your shipping and billing information prior to checking out to ensure any possible delays are avoided. 

Your package will not require a signature unless asked to. Most packages will be delivered to the mailbox or front door of the address provided. It's up to the delivery courier to decide if the package is safe being left in the open. If they decide it is unsafe, they will hold the package at a local post office or re-schedule another delivery. Our best recommendation is to input a shipping address where you know your or someone else will be available to accept the package (a work address or a friend's address).

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been processed to the e-mail address provided at the time of checkout, which can take up to 48 hours. You will receive a second e-mail once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number and a link to follow the journey of your package. If there is a problem with your tracking number or package delivery, please contact the courier directly prior to contacting us. Please allow 1 - 4 days for the tracking information to show. In some rare case, the tracking information may not update but you will still receive your order. Please contact us after the estimated delivery time.

INTERNATIONAL TAXES AND DUTIES

International customers (outside of the United States) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees which your local Customs authority deems appropriate. These fees are paid to your local carrier or government and are not collected by Endless Hair Extensions, and thus cannot be refunded. 

We ship international packages DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), meaning that these fees are not included in the price of the goods you purchase from our website. All applicable fees must be paid by the recipient in order to receive the parcel. As we are unable to advise the amount of what these fees might be, we recommend contacting your country's customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates on a package coming outside of your country.

Please note that DHL pays on your behalf for any duties and taxes that are due on the goods, as soon they enter the country. This simple process ensures that the courier can deliver your package in shortest possible transit time. The goods are released to you only upon the full repayment of any duties and taxes that were paid on your behalf. On some occasions, you may receive an invoice from DHL after the delivery of goods, for the charges they have paid on your behalf at the destination, plus a small administration fee. 

WRONG ADDRESS DISCLAIMER

It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that she or he enters the shipping address correctly. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping times, hence there is a very small time gap to cancel/change your order or to change the address of your order. If you decide to cancel your order or change your shipping address, please write to us at info@endlesshairextensions.com as soon as you place your order. We will do our best to make the change, however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so, as there are varying time limits in which we are able to do so.

If it's too late for our team to cancel your order, you can return your order to us once you've received it. For more information on how to return your order click here. The only thing we can do is wait to see if the package gets returned back to us. If it does get returned back to our warehouse, we can then ship it to the correct address or provide you with a full refund.

Extra Shipping Charges: If you upgraded your shipping and the package was returned to us due to an incorrect address and if you would like a refund, you will not be reimbursed for the upgraded shipping fees.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

MAY I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY ENDLESS HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Yes! We are happy to accept your set back for an exchange or refund within 60 days, as long as they haven't been worn or altered or installed. Please read our Return Policy and then e-mail info@endlesshairextensions.com when you are ready to proceed with your return or exchange. You must contact us prior to sending your return to obtain an RMA number and confirmation of such a return or exchange. Please note that refunds for extensions returned without contacting us cannot be guaranteed.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING OF MY RETURN OR EXCAHNGE?

Yes, customers wishing to return or exchange their extensions will be responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend that you send your return with a tracking option because Endless Hair Extensions will not be responsible for lost packages. Note: please indicate "RETURN, NO DUTIES" on the package, otherwise the package may be returned to you.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY EXCHANGE?

We will send you the different extension(s) after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extension(s) were not worn or altered. All customers must contact us after sending the package back and provide us with the tracking information of the set being sent back, in order for us to place the order for your exchange. It takes 1 business day to process all orders from the moment we place it in our system. US orders take 3-5 business days to be delivered with standard free shipping, and international orders may take anywhere from 6-20 business days. For more shipping details, please click here.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?

A full refund will be provided to the original method of payment after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extensions were not worn or altered. All customers must contact us after sending the package back and provide us with the tracking information in order for us to process the refund. Note: most financial institutions will take an average of 3-5 business days to process the refund, however, it could take longer. Please allow up to 7 business days for your financial institution to reflect the refund on your statement prior to contacting us. HOW DO I INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE?

We're sorry to hear your Endless Hair Extensions were not a good match! In order to initiate a return or exchange, please e-mail info@endlesshairextension.com with your order number and the following information, and we'll be happy to provide you with our return address and an RMA label if you qualify for a return. 1. Please read about our refund policy here or our exchange policy here. 2. By purchasing our product(s), you by default agree to our refund/exchange policy and guarantee that the item has not been worn or altered. Please e-mail us and copy/paste the following statement: "I, (insert your full name), agree to the Endless Hair Extensions refund/exchange policy and understand if Endless Hair Extensions finds that the item has been worn or altered, I will not receive a refund, and I will have to pay the needed shipping fees in order to get my worn or altered item back." Also, if you have any feedback as to why you are returning your set - we'd love to hear it! Customer feedback is what helps our company learn and grow.

WHAT IS THE RETURN/EXCHANGE PERIOD?

We will provide a full refund or exchange on unworn and unaltered hair extensions within 60 days of the date that you receive your Endless Hair Extensions.

OTHER

DELIVERED BUT NOT DELIVERED

All of our shipments include tracking with delivery confirmation. If the tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to your order address but you have not received your order, please contact couriers at numbers above in order to investigate this issue. We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states the package has been delivered to your order address. 

If you have previously experienced lost or stolen packages where you reside, we encourage you to instead have your package delivered to a work address to ensure that you receive it safe and sound. 

USA STATE SALES TAXES

Please note that Endless Hair Extensions charges state sales where applicable at the rate applicable for the county of the purchaser. These collected taxes are mandated by the local state governments and Endless Hair Extensions in no way benefits from this and directly pays this amount collected to the state.

EUROPEAN UNION VALUE-ADDED TAXES (VAT)

Please note that Endless Hair Extensions charges a 20% VAT on all orders shipped to a country within the European Union (EU). These collected taxes are mandated by the Dutch government and Endless Hair Extensions in no way benefits from this and directly pays this amount collected to the government. 

MILITARY MAIL

We do ship to military addresses. All mail is shipped via USPS to a military base who is then responsible for delivering the package to your final destination. For military orders, delivery times can be upwards of 15-20 business days.
